1、华中科技大学硕士学位论文摘要学科是高校的立足之本、发展之源，学科建设是高校发挥其人才培养、科学研究和社会服务三大功能的基础；是衡量高校实力和竞争力的核心因素；是展示学校办学水平、人才培养质量、学校社会声誉的主要标志。学科建设对新建本科院校来说其战略意义尤为重要；新建本科院校要实现内涵升本、实现办学水平与办学质量的全面提升，就必须不断改善和加强学科建设。本文从学科建设在高校发展中的重要作用入手，在深入阐述学科建设的概念、特点及实践体系的基础上，对我国新建本科院校及其学科建设的现状进行了系统分析，阐明了新建本科院校学科建设主要存在着理

2、论准备不够充分、定位不够准确和基础比较薄弱等问题，并就问题产生的原因进行了分析。最后围绕新建本科院校加强学科建设的必要性、建设对策等问题进行了系统论述，认为新建本科院校加强自身学科建设应做好以下几方面工作；一是从思想上重视学科建设，要更新观念、科学定位，要制定切合实际的学科建设规划和发展目标，有步骤地推进学科建设：二是从经费使用上重视学科建设，要加大投入，加强学科基地建设，改善学科建设的学术条件，加大科研工作力度，提升学术声誉与学术水平，加大重点学科建设力度，凸显学科特色与优势；三是从管理上完善学科建设的组织与制度保障，促进学科建
