3、restnationwidethatmadeWeibothemostpopularanddisputedChinesemedium.Weiboisoftendescribedasafastandefficientpublisherofnewsfeeds;adebatingroomthatcontainstheopinionsofNetizens;agovernmenttestinggroundthatintegratespublicviews;andastormcenteratwhichinternetincidentsbrewatflashingspeed
4、.Inevitably,inthecomplicatedworldofWeibo,variousundesiredphenomenaaccompanytheexpansionoftheonlinecommunity.Flamewars,trolling,publicitystunts,andrumorspreadingtonamejustafew,somethatcameintoexistencewellbeforeWeibodidparasiteonWeiboinordertosurvive.Basedontheparticipation,observat
5、ion,analysis,andresearchofWeibo,thisstudyseekstodemonstratethepasthistoryaswellascurrentrealityofWeiboviatheBrokenWindowstheory,aclassicalframeworkofcriminaljustice.Thestudyprobesintothe“disorderly”webenvironmentofWeibotodemonstratetheformationofBrokenWindowsEffectthroughcases,data
6、analysis,andcomparativestudies.Inaddition,thestudywillidentifyrisksanddamagethatBrokenWindowsEffectwilllikelyinflictonthenormaloperationandorganicgrowthofWeibo.TheanalysisofBrokenWindowsEffectlaysoutthefoundationoftheauthor’sfurtherinvestigationoftracingtheoriginandidentifyingcultu
