6、sidualdistortionof6056Alalloysheetafterfrictionstirwelding(FSW)issmallerthanthatafterfusionwelding,itisstillasignificantdefectfortheassemblyandapplicationofweldedstructure.InordertoinvestigateandpredicttheresidualdistortionofAlalloysheetafterFSW,a3Dthermo–mechanicalmodelwasestabli
7、shedbasedonexperimentalconditionstosimulatetheFSWprocess.Inthemodel,heatinputwascomputedbasedonthetorquedatameasuredduringexperiment,andheattransferbetweenweldedsheetandfixtureswassimplifiedinthewayofconvection,andthepropertiesof6056Alalloywereconsideredastemperaturefunction,andtoo
8、lloadsweretakenintoaccountduringthemechanicalanalysis.Thesimulationresultsshowthatthedistributionoflongitudinalresidualstressalongthewidthofsheetisasymmetrical,andtheresidualdistortioncorrespondswellwithexperimentalresultsbothindistortionpatternanddeformationvaluesonthewholesheet
