1、快速人脸检测技术综述121,2,31李月敏陈杰高文尹宝才1(北京工业大学计算机学院多媒体与智能软件技术实验室北京100022)2(哈尔滨工业大学计算机科学与技术学院哈尔滨150001)3(中国科学院计算技术研究所先进人机通信技术联合实验室北京100080)摘要人脸检测问题研究具有很重要的意义，可以应用到人脸识别、新一代的人机界面、安全访问和视觉监控以及基于内容的检索等领域，近年来受到研究者的普遍重视。人脸检测要走向实际应用，精度和速度是亟需解决的两个关键问题。经过20世纪90年代以来十多年的发展，人脸检测的精度得到了大幅度的提高，但是速度却一直是阻
2、挠人脸检测走向实用的绊脚石。为此研究者们也作了艰辛的努力。直到21世纪Viola基于AdaBoost算法的人脸检测器的发表，人脸检测的速度才得到了实质性的提高。该算法的发表也促进了人脸检测研究的进一步蓬勃发展，在这方面先后涌现出了一批优秀的文献。基于此，本文在系统地整理分析了人脸检测领域内的相关文献之后，从速度的角度将人脸检测的各种算法大致划分为初始期，发展期，转折点和综合期等四类，并在此基础上进行了全新的总结和论述，最后给出了人脸检测研究的一些可能的发展方向。关键词人脸检测，速度，人脸识别，模式识别，Boosting图法分类号:TP391.4Fa
