2、thlineareequaleverywhere.Thisnewformofgearcaneffectivelysolvesomeissuesforinstancethetransmissionisnotsmoothandtheefficiencyofpowertransmissionislow,whicharebroughtbythereasonthatthehelixangleisn’tequal.Thusitisnecessarytodeeplystudythiskindofgearinthedesignand

3、meshingrespects.Basedonthenumberofgeometriccharacteristicsoflogarithmicspiralbevelgear,thispaperpresentsanewmodelingmethodandsuccessfullyconstructsthemeshingmodeloflogarithmicspiralbevelgear.Basedonthis,thegearmeshingsimulationanalysisisoperatedwithANSYS/LS-DYN

4、Asoftwareinordertoobtainstressdistributionintheprocessoftoothcontact.Thetoothcontactstressandtoothrootbendingstressmagnitude,stressdistributionandvariationofcloudareanalyzed.Accordingtotheoperationresultofthenumericalsimulation,thepaperderivestheformulasoftooth

5、surfacecontactstressandtoothrootbendingstress.Thisresearchworksmainlyinthefollowingaspects:1.Basedonthemeshingtheoryanddesigntheoryoflogarithmicspiralbevelgear,apairofthree-dimensionalmodelofmeshinggearswillbecreated.Thearticleproposesanewmodelingmethodwhichinc

6、ludesthreeinnovationspots.First,usingtwoconicallogarithmicspiralofwhichtheincludedangleis360/2Ztodeterminethespacepositionoftoothprofilecurve,theinvolutecurvecanbepreciselylocated.Second,theconicallogarithmicspiralwhichcoiledaroundinthepitchconesurfaceisusedass

7、weptintothetrajectorysothattoothprofilecanbeguaranteedaccurately.Third,thescanningmixsectionisestablishedinthenormalplaneofsweptintothetrajectorysothatthetoothprofileofeachpointnormalplaneforgeartoothisthestandardtoothprofile.2.Basedonthis,thegearmeshingsimulat
