2、ing.Recognizingthisfacthassignificantimplica-tionsregardingthemannerinwhichinsurancepoliciesarecon-struedincoveragedisputes.Fromthisinsightflowinterpretativeconsequencessuggestingthatpolicyconstructioncanbeimprovedbynotonlyperformingtraditionalcontractanalysisofd
3、isputedpoliciesbutalsoappreciatingtheparticularfunctionoftheinsurancepolicyinquestionaspartoftheinsuranceproduct’slargerroleasasocialandeconomicinstrumentorinstitution.Applyingthisbroaderanalysis,theArticleexaminesinsomedetailthelongstandingandfrequentlylitigated
4、issueofhowmany“occurrences”havetakenplacewithinthemeaningofliabilityinsurance,aswellasexaminingissuesof“businessrisk,”“accidental”events,liquorliabilityexclu-sions,claimsforinherentdiminishedvalueofvehiclesinvolvedinautomobilecollisions,triggerofcoverage,andthewo
