3、tivepeerrevisionisoneofthebestwaystoimprovestudents’writingabilities.Duringthepasttwentyyears,asubstantialamountofresearchershaveinvestigatedtheimportantvalueofpeerrevisionandtheyhavegotincredibleachievements.Theresultsprovethatpeerrevisioncanfacilitatestudents’writingprofic
4、iency.However,littleisknownaboutthefunctionsofpeerrevisiontoEnglishargumentativewriting.What’smore,argumentativewritingisthemostcommongenreinCET-4test,therefore,thethesisconcentratesonthefunctionofpeerrevisiontoargumentativewritingontheonehand.Ontheotherhand,thethesisfocuses
5、onanonymouspeerrevision.Inmostresearchesofbroadandhome,fewresearchesarerelatedtotheanonymouspeerrevision.Thepaperdesignsanexperimentalstudytofindoutwhetherthestudentsinthepeerrevisionactivitieshaveimprovedtheirwritingefficiency.Thestudyaimstoanswerthefollowingthreequestions:
