2、2012Class:Class1of2008Advisor:TangWenli英汉新词对比研究摘要：本文在己有英汉新词研究成果的基础上，从语言对比的角度，对英汉新词展开进一步探讨。首先，文章对以往英汉新词研究进行了回顾，包括新词的定义，分类，主要特征以及产生原因。其次，对英汉新词来源作了对比研究，英汉新词的来源主要有三种：①构词法造新词；②语义的改变（旧词获得新义）；③从其他语言借词。最后阐述了词汇，语言和文化之间的关系，从而揭示英汉新词文化特征的界同。本文的研究不仅帮助外语学习者加深对英汉新词

3、的了解，而且对外语教学来说具有一定的借鉴意义。关键词：新词；对比研究；新词的来源；文化特征Abstract:BasedonpreviousresearchfindingspertinenttothestudyofEnglishandChineseneologisms,thispaperaddressesthetopicfromacomparativeperspective・Thepaperbeginswiththereviewofthepastresearchfindings,including

4、thedefinitionandclassificationofneologism,itscharacteristicsandthereasonsforthecreationofneologisms.Then,itproceedstomakeacomparativestudyonthesourcesofneologismsandanalyzetheoriginsofEnglishandChineseneologisms.Therearemainlythreetypes:①creatingneol
