2、rstlyin仃oducedthinyyearsago.Temperature,strainandambientrefractiveindexarethreebasicparametersthatcanbesensedbyfibergratingsffllsordirectly.TemperatureandstrainsensingwerewelldevelopedintraditionalfibergratingSgIISOrS.However,thetechnologyofambientrefractiveindexsensi

3、ngdrawslessattentionthantheothertwotechnologiessincefewerdemandsinthepast.Asaresult,itisalsonotasmatureastheothertwo.Inrecentyears,withtherapiddevelopmentofbiotechnologyandthefastgrowingrequirementsinenvironmentmonitoringandecologicalprotection,thefunctionofambientref

4、ractiveindexsensingoffibergratingindexsensorstarttowinmorepublicattentions.Fibergratingindexsffllsorshouldhaveenoughspacetogrowamongabovenewapplicationareasinthefuture,sinceithasmanyspecialadvantagesOVertraditionalsgngor.TMsdissertationaddressesthreetypesofnewfibergra

5、tingindexsensorsforbiochemicalsensing.TheyareetchedfiberBragggrating(FBG)claddingmoderesonancerefractiveindexsensor,claddingindexmodulatedfibergratingrefractiveindexsonsorandsubwavelength-diameterfibergratingrefractiveindexsensor.1五ecarefultheoreticalworkswereperforme

6、dinthisdissertationforsuchthreetypesofSelLsOI'Sbasedonfibermodalanalysisandcouplingmodetheory.Theirspectrumcharacteristicsandsensingperformancewereobtained.neFBGcladdingmoderesonanceambientrefractiveindexsensorWasfirstfabricatedinourlaboratoryandahighsensitivityof172n

7、m/riuisobtainedinthesensingexperiment,whichprovedthetheoreticalperformance.Additionally,basedonthissensoraliquid-levelsensingproposalispresanmd.Andboththereoticalandexperimentalworksaredonesubsequently.Thosethreetypesofnewfibergratingindexsensorshavethefeaturesoflowin
