2、redifferentmechanismscontributetoenergydissipationintherealstructures,itishardtoobtainalluniformunderstandingaboutdamping.Foranalyzingtherealstructures,thedampingvaluesareusuallyconsideredasconstantsorusingRaylei曲dampinginsteadof.Themethodtocalculatethedamping
3、asaconstantbasedonthematerialusedinthestructureignorestheotherstructurefactorsandisnotreasonable.TheRayleighdampingisonlysetupfordeeouplingincomputationwithoutclearphysicalmeaning.Thecomplexdampingwhichconsiderstheinfluenceofstressandamplitudechangingonenergyd
4、issipationismorereasonableincalculatingthestructuralvibration.Inthispaper,introducingthestressrelatedcomplexdampingmodelintothestructuraldynamicequationandutilizingtheFiniteElementMethod,theresponsesofaReinforcedConcrete(RC)fl-anleandaConcrete-FilledSteelTube(
5、CFST)archbridgesufferedtheE1Centrowave,theTianjinwaveandtheNorthridgewavearecalculated,andthewaytoanalysisthecomplicatedstructurewiththestressrelatedcomplexdampingmodelisrealized.Theresultsindicatethatthepredictionsoftheseismicresponsesbasedonvarydampingmodels
6、aredifferent,andthematerialdampingofstructuresisavariablebasedonthestructuralstress.FortheRCfranle,theresponsesbasedonthestressrelatedcomplexdampingmodelatehi曲erthanthatoftheviscousdampingmodel,andtheamountofthematerialdampinginthestructuraldampingisincreasing
7、withthestructuralstress.FortheCFSTarchbridge,theresponsesbasedonthestressrelatedcomplexdampingmodelarealsohigherthanthatoftheviscousdampingmodel,andtheamountofthematerialdampinginthestructuraldampingisincreasingwiththestructuralstresstoo.Theinfluencesoftheconc
