2、pingpromisinglyeitherintheoryorapplications.Suppoavectormachinesforclassificationproblemarecalledsupportvectorclassification(SVC),whileforregressionproblemaresupportvectorregression(SVR).ThispaperfocusesonSVRinseveralaspects,includingtheoryfoundationandapplication.1.TheSuccessofSVMsdependsh
3、eavilyonthemodelselection.OneofthemostpopularapproachesistoselectthekernelandtheparametersbyminimizingtheboundofLeave-One-Out(too)error.ForSVCsomefamousboundshavebeenproposed,wederivethreeLOOboundsforthreealgorithmsofSVR,andanewSVRalgorithm(LOO--SVR)isproposed.2.AgeneralizedmodelofSVRisprop
4、osed,intheoptimizationproblemofwhichaselectablefunctionisincluded.DifferentselectionsofthisfunctionwillderivesomekindsofexistingalgorithmsofSVR,andthekernelfunctioninthismodelmaynotbenecessarilydefinite;UnconstrainedSVRisconstructedaftertransformingtheprimalconvexquadraticprogrammingintounc
