2、(PEMFC).Perfluorosulfonicacidpolymermembraneswidelyusedatpresent,suchasNafion,exhibitlowconductivityathightemperature,limitingtheirapplicationattemperatureshigherthan100℃.DuetoGrotthussmechanismofprotonconduction,Polybenzimidazole(PBI)basedPEMcouldconductprotonswithoutwater,showingatt
3、ractioninpotentialapplicationsofPEMFCathightemperature.PBIbasedPEMcouldbedividedintothreekinds,includingacid-basedopedPBImembranes,chemicalgraftingPBImembranesanddirectpolycondensationPBImembranes.Thoughpossessingvariousadvantages,theystillcan’tmeetthedemandsofapplicationasPEM.Forexam
4、ple,poorsolubilityisoneoftheirdrawbacks.Fromthemoleculardesignofviewpoint,aseriesofPBIbasedPEMwithgoodsolubilityhavebeendesignedandprepared,thepropertiesofwhichhavebeenpreliminarilycharacterizedinthisdissertation.Atfirst,sodium-2,2’-disulfonate-4,4’-oxybenzoicacidwassuccessfully113syn
5、thesized,thestructureofwhichwasconfirmedbyH-NMR,C-NMR,Dept135andIR.Aseriesofdiphenyletherbasedsulfonatedpolybenzimidazoleswerepreparedbydirectpolycondensationofsodium-2,2’-disulfonate-4,4’-oxy-benzoicacid(SDOBA)and4,4’-oxybenzoicacid(OBA)withII上海交通大学硕士学位论文biphenyl-3,4,3’,4’-tetraamine
6、(BPTA).Thustheethergroupswereincorporatedintothebackboneofthesulfonatedpolybenzimidazoles,resultinginhighflexibilityaswellasgoodsolubility.Atthesametime,theexactexampleandthestrategyofpreparationofsulfonatedPBIwithgoodsolubilitywereprovided.Thechemicalstructureoftheresultingionomerswa
7、sconfirmedbyIRandNMR.Theprimarystudydatademonstratedthatdiphenyletherbasedsulfonatedpolybenzimidazoleshaveamorphousstructure,highsolubility,goodthermalstability,andlowswellingaswell,indictingpotentialprospectofapplications.Keywords:DirectPolycondensation,ProtonExchangeMembrane,Sodium-
