2、ofspentLIBsarediscardedafterlimitedservicelifetime.ThesespentLIBscannotbedisposedintolandfillbecauseitcontainshazardousmaterials,suchasorganicsolvents,heavymetals.While,valuablemetalsinspentLIBshavebeenidentifiedasattractivesecondarysource.Hence,recyclingofspentLIBshasbecome
3、animportantissueforresearchandapplication.ThehydrometallurgyhasbecomethemainmethodforrecyclingofspentLIBs,whichiscomposedofacidandreductantofhydrogenperoxide.However,reductantofH2O2cannotbeusedbecauseofitsstrongcorrosiveness,acidicdecompositionandpoorstability.Thedevelopment
4、ofgreenandmildreductantisthekeyforgreenandefficientleachingofspentLIBs.Basedonthermodynamicsandkineticstheory,spentLiCoO2materialisrecoveredbygreenrecyclingprocess,whichincludingleachingenhancedbyreduction,precipitationofcobaltwithoxalate,preparationofCo3O4byoxidationandrege
5、nerationofLiCoO2.Thecontrolstepsandreactionmechanismofleachingenhancedbygreenreductantsofglucoseandgrapeseedandelectrochemicalreductionarestudied,whichisconducivetotheefficientrecoveryofspentLIBs.TheleachingofspentLiCoO2materialiscloselyrelatedtoitsthermodynamicequilibrium.T
6、hepotentialE-pHdiagramofCo-H2Osystemisplottedunderdifferentionicconcentrations.BasedontherelativepotentialandpossibleleachingprocessofLiCoO2+2+2andCo,LiCoO2materialismoreeasilytransformedintoCoatlowpotentialvalues.ReductionisbeneficialforleachingofLiCoO2.Insteadofcommonlyuse
7、dchemicalreductantofhydrogenperoxide,theleachingprocessofspentLiCoO2materialsisstudiedbyusingglucoseasgreenandmildreductant.Thereductionreactionofglucosemainlyincludesoxidationofaldehydegroupandoxidationofcarboxylgroupduringleachingprocess.Theintermediateproductofthereaction
8、issingleorganicacid,whichcanincreasetheacidconcentrationoftheleachingsystem
