4、reessurroundedapieceoflooking-glass,whichwasintendedtorepresentatransparentlake.Swans,madeofwax,swamonthelake,andwerereflectedinit.Allthiswasverypretty,buttheprettiestofallwasatinylittlelady,whostoodattheopendoorofthecastle;she,also,wasmadeofpaper,andsheworeadressofclearmuslin,withanarrowblueribbon
5、overhershouldersjustlikeascarf.Infrontofthesewasfixedaglitteringtinselrose,aslargeasherwholeface.Thelittleladywasadancer,andshestretchedoutbothherarms,andraisedoneofherlegssohigh,thatthetinsoldiercouldnotseeitatall,andhethoughtthatshe,likehimself,hadonlyoneleg."Thatisthewifeforme,"hethought;"butshe
