3、sicaltestingpatterns.ThefollowingarticlebyFEVMotorentechnikGmbHintroducesacomprehensivetestmethodologyforpurposefulendurancetestingofmoderndriveunits(inparticularfromthefieldsofpassengercarsandcommercialvehicles).Theprocedureandthetestingphilosophyareex
4、plainedindetail,illustratedbyaconcretedevelopmentexample.TheresultistheFEVMASTERProgrammeasanadvancedtestingmethodologywhichispurposefullygearedtodealwithallaspectsofthemanyapplicationvariantswhilekeepingthetestingdurationshortandthenumberoftestsubjects
5、smallinordertoavoidincreasingtotaldevelopmentcostsandperiods.INTRODUCTIONDuetotheemergenceofnewmarketsandvehicleapplications,thereisagrowingdiversityofenginevariantsandapplications.Therefore,thedevelopmentofacombustionengineanditsvariantsuptoreadinessfo
6、rstartofproductionbecomesincreasinglycomplex.Eachvariantrequiresadequatelyextensivetestinginordertoproveitsreliability,takingthetargetedusefullifeintoaccount.Despitetheseincreasedrequirements,itisstillthegoaltoreducedevelopmentcostsandperiods.Itisforthi
