2、ticalapplications,thestabilityofnanocarriersisofgreatchallengesincetheywoulddisassembleuponstimulationssuchaspH,temperature,etc.Thecorecross-linkedorshellcrOSS—linkedapproacheshavebeendevelopedtomaintaintheirstructuralintegrity.Thisdissertationmainly
3、focusesonfabricationofredox·-sensitiveshellcrOSS-linkednanocarriersvia(inverse)miniemulsionreversibleaddition-fragmentationchaintransfer(RAFT)polymerization.Thisdissertationincludesfourpartsasfollowing:1.ShellcrOSS-linkedpoly(2-(dimethylamino)ethylme
4、thacrylate)-b—polystyrene(PDMAEMA-b-PS)nanoparticleswerepreparedinaminiemulsionRAFTsystem,inwhichPDMAEMARAFTchaintransferagentsactedasstabilizers.Theamountofthecross-linkerWasallinfluenceparameteronthemorphology.Thediameterofnanoparticlesincreasedwit
5、haconcomitantincreasinginamountofthecrOSS-linker.Andtheas—preparedshellcrOSS-linkednanopartilceshadaninherentfluorescentproperty.Sotheycallbedirectlyusedasadrugdeliverycarrier伽vivowithoutanyfluorescencelabelingtreatments.2.Whentheamountofcross—linker
6、Wasrelativelow,theshellCROSS.1inkedPDMAEMA--b·-PSnanoparticlesunderwentafissionprocessduringtheminiemulsionRAFTpolymerizationprocess.Thefissionwasinducedbythedifferentratebetweenthemonomertransferandthepolymerization/nsitu,alongwiththedifferencesinth
