4、rsor‘philosopher-kings’.TheAcademy’smostcelebratedmemberwastheyoungAristotle(384–322),whostudiedthereforthelasttwentyyearsofPlato’slife.Theirworksmarkthehighestpeakofphilosophicalachievementinantiquity,andbothcontinuetorankamongthegreatestphilosophersofalltime.PlatoistheearliestWesternp
