5、.HistoryUniversitycouncil'sfirstmeetingin1949HistoryIn1958theUniversitynamewaschangedtotheUniversityoftheNewSouthWales.Whichmeantitbeganthestepofturningtobeacomprehensiveuniversity.In1960itbroadeneditsscholarlycharacterwiththeestablishmentoftheFacultyofArts,soont
