3、ssQuillianinthe1960’s).ThismethodhasbeenfurtherdevelopbyTonyBuzanwhoarguesthattraditionallearningmethodsforcethestudentintoscanninglefttorightortoptobottom.Mindmappinggetthestudenttoscanthewholepageinanon-linearfashion.Whilethismaybebetrue,Iseemindmapsasac
4、omplimentarymethodnotasubstitutetotraditionallearningmethods(reading(books/articlesetc),listening(lectures),seeing(videoandobservation)takingnotesandinteractivelearning(Internet,Blackboard))MethodMindmappingisthegraphicuseofshorttext,lines,colours,boxes,ar
5、rows,branches,andsymbolstographicallydisplayinformationinaneasytounderstandway.Theyarenormallyononepageandstartinthecentreandworkoutwards.Mindmapscanbeverycomplexorfairlysimplebuttheaimisthesame‘tostructure,rememberandshowlinkagesbetweeninformationandideas
