4、sexualchallengeandexperienceitthatway,andthereforehaveaveryvisceralandvengefulreactiontopiecesof"speech”thattheydon’tlike.Theyexperience,Ithink,alotofradicalfeministwritingactuallyasifitwereasexualassaultonthem;andsincemostofthemdon’tknowwhatasexualassaultis,theyhavethepr
5、ivilegeofoverreactinginthatway.Then,onadeeperlevel,oneofthethingsI’velearnedinthelastfifteenyearsishowmuchwomenaresilencedthroughsexualabuse.Thesimpleexperienceofbeingabused,whetherasachildorasanadult,hasanincredibleimpactoneverythingaboutthewayyouseetheworldaroundyou,sot
