3、epeopleareincreasinglyusingthecomputertocommunicateandinteractwitheachother.Theinternetanditsadvantagesofconnectivity,enableCMCtobeusedfromaplethoraofapplications.MostcommonusesofCMCincludeemailcommunication,discussionforumsaswellasrealtimechatroomsandaudio/v

4、ideoconferencing.Bycommunicatingthroughcomputersandovertheinternet,onlinecommunitiesemerge.DiscussionboardsandotherCMCapplicationsofferahugeamountofinformationandtheanalysisofthisdataassistsinunderstandingtheseonlinecommunitiesandthesocialnetworksthatformarou

5、ndthem.TherehavebeenvariousframeworksbydifferentresearchersaimedatanalyzingCMC.Thischapter’smainobjectiveistoprovideanoverviewofthemodelsandframeworksavailablethatarebeingusedforanalyzingCMCine-Learningenvironments.Thesignificanceoftheproposedpresentationisth

6、atitaimstoprovidethereaderwithup-to-dateinformationregardingthesemethods.AdvantagesanddisadvantagesofeachoftheCMCanalysismethodsarepresentedandsuggestionsforfutureresearchdirectionsaremade.Finally,thesesuggestionsareappliedtoacharacteristicscenarioine-Learnin
