3、blyin1968or1969whenIwas24.Somemonthsbefore,Ihadhadoccasionalsleepparalysis/bedroom"visitor"typeexperiences.Ican'trecalltheveryfirstluciddream,butinthoseearlyluciddreamsIwasamazedIwasdoingwhatIwasdoing.Ifeltasenseofwonderthatmymindhadfashionedsuchgorg
4、eous,intricateenvironments.Ioftenjustlookedaround.Ialsoenjoyedflyingbutusuallycouldn'tflyashighasIwouldhaveliked.Therewerelesspleasantsidesaswell-intensevibrationsandoddphenomenaIcouldn'tcomprehend.IthoughtIwastheonlypersonwhohaddreamslikethis.Iwould
5、askpeersbutatthattimeneverfoundconfirmationfromothers.In1974-75,IwasinaclassondreamswhenIwasintroducedtotheterm"luciddreaming."IrealizedthatwaswhatIhadbeendoingoffandonandthatothershadsimilarexperiences.LivingintheBayarea,wereyouabletomeetotherlucidd
6、reamersandshareideas?Well,IcontinuedtohavespontaneousluciddreamsandwentthroughoccasionalperiodsoftryingtoinducemorethanI'dordinarilyhave.Iwrotedownmostofthesedreams.ThemajoritywereclosetowhatIwouldnowcallsemi-lucid.Inthelate'80's,throughluciddreamerS
7、teveGillenwater,IwasintroducedtoStephenLaBerge'sbook,*LucidDreaming*,andhiswork.ThiscameatatimewhenIwasworkingafternoonsandhadmymorningsrelativelyfree.Thebookwasagreathelpandgavemesomefocusinlearninglucidity.AfewyearslaterIbecameamemberofLaBerge'sOne
