3、iclesimulatorrequiresbatterymodelscapableofpredictingsubsystems.Adynamicsimulator[2]-[3]offersamorestate-of-charge,I-Vcharacteristics,anddynamicbehaviordetailedlook,basedondynamicequationsofeachofdifferentbatterytypes.Abatterymodelcapableofsubcomponent(theengine,battery,inver
4、ter,motor,andreproducinglithium-ion,nickel-metalhydride,andlead-transmission)onmicrosecondtimescales.TheSimulinkacidI-Vcharacteristics(withminimalmodelalterations)isproposed.Abattery-testingapparatuswasdesignedtocomponentblockofthebatterymodelin[2-3]wasmeasuretheproposedparam
5、etersofthebatterymodelfordesignedforvehicleswithlead-acidbatterypacks.Theallthreebatterytypesandsimulatedrivingscheduleswithlead-acidmodelisinsufficientforaccuratesimulationsaprogrammedsourceandloadconfiguration.Amultipleofvehicledrivetrainswithdifferentbattery-packtime-const
6、antbatterymodelwasusedformodelinglithium-chemistries.Here,athreetime-constantdynamicelectricionbatteries;verificationoftimeconstantsinthesecondstobatterymodelforlead-acid,nickelmetalhydrideminutesandhourrangeshasbeenshowninnumerous(NiMH),andlithiumion(Li-ion)batteriesispropos
