5、anthoseofaliquid.Henceagasisverycompressible,andwhenallex-ternalpressureisremoved,ittendstoexpandindefinitely.Agasisthereforeinequilibriumonlywhenitiscompletelyenclosed.Aliquidisrelativelyincom-pressible,andifallpressure,exceptthatofitsownvaporpressure,isremoved,thecohesionbetweenmo
