5、00e306,000).TheaverageageofthetypicalpatientwithspinalcordinjuryhasOVERVIEWOFSPINETRAUMAincreasedto40.2yearsasof2005,andapproxi-mately80.9%ofallspinalcordinjuriesoccurinSpinalfracturesrepresent3%to6%ofallskeletalmales.1injuries.6AsystematicreviewbySekhonandMotorvehic
6、leaccidentsaccountfor42.1%ofFehlings7foundthat55%ofallspinalinjuriesreportedspinalcordinjurycases.Thenextmost(includingalltypesofspinalinjuries)involvethecommoncauseisfalls(26.7%),followedbyactscervicalspine,15%thethoracicspine,15%theofviolence(15.1%),andsportingacti
