3、indeedmanifestingcertainfeaturesandsubjectmatterstypicalofthatliterarymode,ontheotherhandredefinestheconceptofthemagicbyusingitasamarkerforthecharac-ters’extraordinarypowersofenduranceandresistance,therebyinsistingontheuniquenessoftheAfricanAmericanexperience.KeywordsMagicalre
