2、010)Inexperimentswithtrappedatoms,atomicenergylevelsareshiftedbythetrappingopticalandmagneticfields.Regardlessofthisstrongperturbation,precisionspectroscopymaybestillcarriedoutusingspeciallycrafted,‘‘magic’’trappingfields.Findingtheseconditionsforpartic

3、ularlyvaluablemicrowavetransitionsinalkali-metalatomshassofarremainedanopenchallenge.HereIdemonstratethatthemicrowavetransitionsinalkali-metalatomsmaybeindeedmadeimpervioustobothtrappinglaserintensityandfluctuationsofmagneticfields.Iconsiderdrivingmulti

4、photontransitionsbetweentheclocklevelsandshowthatthese‘‘doublymagic’’conditionsarerealizedatspecialvaluesoftrappinglaserwavelengthsandfixedvaluesofrelativelyweakmagneticfields.Thisfindinghasimplicationsforprecisionmeasurementsandquantuminformationprocess

7、ppingopticalfieldsstronglyperturbatomicenergylev-tionssimultaneously.Thisproblemissolvedhere.Wewillels—transitionfrequenciesareshiftedawayfromtheirrequirethattheclock-qubittransitionisinsensitivetobothunperturbedvalues.Inaddition,theunderlyingStarkshif
