4、retireddoctors.IfIcouldpersuadethemtospendafewhoursaweekvolunteeringtheirservices,wecouldprovidefreeprimaryhealthcaretothosesodesperatelyinneedofit.MostofthedoctorsIapproachedlikedtheidea,solongastheycouldberelicensedwithouttroubles.Ittookoneyearandplentyofpers
5、istence,butIwasabletopersuadethestatelegislatorstocreateaspeciallicensefordoctorsvolunteeringinnot-for-profitclinics.Thetowndonatedland,localresidentscontributedofficeandmedicalequipmentandsomeofthepotentialpatientsvolunteeredtheirweekendsornamentingthebuilding
