3、llegefreshmen,54.1percentofthe4,891respondentsaredissatisfiedwiththeirmajors.Fortunately,manyuniversitiesallowstudentstoapplytochangetheirmajorsinthesecondsemesterofthefreshmanyear.However,thequotaislimitedandmanyuniversitiessethighrequirementsintermsoftheapplicant’sacademicperforman
4、ceintheiroriginalmajor.HuTingzhou,20,afreshmanatZhejiangUniversityofFinanceandEconomicswastoldthatheneededtohaveagradepointaverage(GPA)ofatleast3.5inhisoriginalmajorinordertoapplyforanewmajor.“It’sself-contradictory.It’shardforapersontoscorethathighlyifheisnotinterestedandconfidentin
