2、o-machining(μECM)re-andtheworkpieceisshapedaccordingtothefeaturesofthequiresaparticularpulsepowersupplyunit(PSU)tobedevel-tool-electrode[1].opedinordertoachievedesiredmachiningperformance.ThisμECMenablestheprecisemachiningofmicro-featuresbypapersummarisesthedevelopmentofapulse

3、PSUmeetingusingthecapacitivepropertiesoftheelectricaldoublelayertherequirementsofμECM.Thepulsepowersupplyprovides(EDL)whichformsitselfalongthesurfacesoftheelectrodes.tensofnanosecondpulseduration,positiveandnegativebiasThedissolutionprocesscanbeaccuratelyconfinedbysettingvolta

4、gesandapolarityswitchingfunctionality.ItfulfilsthethepulsedurationaccordingtothechargingtimeoftheEDLneedsfortoolpreparationwithreversedpulsedECMonthe[2–6].Thefrequencyandthepulsedurationare,respectively,machine.Moreover,thePSUisequippedwithanultrafasthigherandshorterthanininit

5、ialPECM[7,8].Thisprocessovercurrentprotectionwhichpreventsthetoolelectrodefromrequiresapulsepowersupplyunit(PSU)thatisabletodeliverbeingdamagedincaseofshortcircuits.Thedevelopedpulsepulsesatveryhighfrequencywithanadjustablepulsedura-PSUwasusedtofabricatemicro-toolsoutof170μmWC

6、-Cotion.Theamountofinformationintheliteratureonthedevel-alloyshaftsviamicro-electrochemicalturninganddrilldeepopmentofapulsePSUforμECMisverylimited.MostoftheholesviaμECMinadiskmadeof18NiCr6.Theelectrolytepublishedresearchuses‘off-the-shelf’signalgeneratorsusedforbothprocessesw
