3、secutiveinjectionofd-galactoseandNaNOfor60days.OraladministrationofCE(2.5mgkg−1,25mgkg−1)startedfrom47thdayoftheexperiment.Watermazetestwasusedtoevaluatethelearningandmemoryfunctionofmice.ThecontentsofMDAandGSHandtheactivitiesofSODandGSH-pxinbraintissueweredeterminedusingdifferentbiochemi

4、calmethods.Thealterationsinhippocampusmorphologywereassessed.ImmunoreactivecellsofTau-2andNT-3inthehippocampuswerecountedbyimmunohistochemicalstaining.Theresultsindicatedthatcombinedinjectionofd-galactoseandNaNO2inducedmemoryimpairmentofmice.Inaddition,SODandGSH-pxactivitiesandGSHleveldec

5、reasedwhileMDAlevelincreasedinmousebrain.Tau-2positiveneuronsincreasedwhileNT-3positiveneuronsdecreasedremarkablyinthehippocampus.AdministrationofCEfor14dayssignificantlyimprovedthecognitivedeficitsandthebiochemicalmarkersmentionedaboveandreducedthehistologicallesionsinmousebrain.Theseresul
