2、ScatteringPointsinParallelCoor-dinates,SPPC),bytakingadvantageofbothparallelcoordinatesandscatterplots.Differentfrommostmultipleviewsvisualizationframeworksinvolvingparallelcoordinateswhereeachvisualizationtypeoccupiesanindividualwindow,weconverttwoselectedneighboringcoordinateax
3、esintoascatterplotdirectly.Multidimensionalscalingisadoptedtoallowconvertingmultipleaxesintoasinglesubplot.Thetransitionbetweentwovisualtypesisdesignedinaseamlessway.Inourwork,aseriesofinteractiontoolshasbeendeveloped.Uniformbrushingfunctionalityisimplementedtoallowtheusertoperfo
4、rmdataselectiononbothpointsandparallelcoordinatepolylineswithoutexplicitlyswitchingtools.AGPUacceleratedDimensionalIncrementalMultidimensionalScaling(DIMDS)hasbeendevelopedtosignificantlyimprovethesystemperformance.Ourcasestudyshowsthatourschemeismoreefficientthantraditionalmulti-v

6、informationexplosion.Datawithunprecedentedlytersandperformselectionbybrushing.However,incontrastfrompar-largesizeandhighdimensionalityposesamajorchallengetovisu-allelcoordinateswhichcanvisualizealldimensionssimultaneously,alizationresearchers,demandingtheprovisionofeffectivealgor
