3、ulkElectricSystem(BES)intheregionoftheMidwestReliabilityOrganization(MRO).4.Applicability:TheBESwithintheareaundertheMRO.5.MostRecentUpdate:March21,2007B.RequirementsR1.EachTransmissionOwner,DistributionProviderthatownstransmissionProtectionSystems,orGenerationOwner

4、shallidentify,analyze,andreporttotheMROonaquarterlybasis,allmisoperationsofprotectivesystems,whichaffecttheBES.R1.1.ProtectionSystemstobereviewedandanalyzedformisoperationsduetotheirpotentialimpactonBESreliability:°Allprotectionsystemswhichremovefromservicetransmiss

5、ionlines,buses,ortransformersenergizedat100kVorhigher.(Fortransformersthisvoltagereferstothesecondarywinding.)°Allprotectionsystemswhichremovefromservicegenerationtotaling250MWnameplatecapacityormore.Protectionsystemelementstobeincludedintheanalysisofmisoperationsin

6、cluderelays,communicationequipmentandchannels,batterysystems,instrumenttransformers,andpowercircuitbreakers.ProtectionSystemmisoperationscoveredbytheserequirements:°Failuretooperateforfaultswithintheintendedzoneofprotection,orfortheintendedsystemcondition.-1-PRC-003
