3、目标，建构符合外语人才发展需求的通识教育课程。首先，本研究通过对我国具有代表性的7所外语院校的通识教育课程现状进行文本分析，并与综合性大学和理工类院校通识教育课程设置的特征进行比较研究，梳理出外语院校通识教育设置的特征。其次，以四川外国语大学现行的通识教育课程为例,通过文献研究法和调查研究法获得详实的课程建设的相关数据，结合个性与共性的特征，分析外语院校通识教育课程设置的问题及原因，最后针对性地提出课程建构的策略。结合已有的相关研究结论及本研究对外语院校的调查结果发现，外语院校通识教育课程设置在课程目标、课程原则、课程体系及课程实施各方面有其独到的特色与优势。

4、因此，外语院校通识教育课程设置应该坚持发挥外语院校专业特色，保持其独特性，课程的建设要立足于外语院校自身的发展和学生的发展需要。本研究结合以上论证结果，提出外语院校通识教育课程构架包括通识必修课和通识选修课，其中在通识必修课模块中增设数理类课程，并将通识选修课程细分为中国传统文化与历史传承、哲学智慧与批判性思维、审美情趣与艺术鉴赏、实用性素养与技能和社会研究与科学精神六个模块。虽然本研究目前所构建的课程框架还存在不足，但仍然希望能促进外语院校通识教育课程构建的不断完善。关键词：外语院校；通识教育；通识教育课程；课程设置I四川外国语大学硕士学位论文Abstrac
