2、hemostimportantandmemorablebattleofthewarwasOperationOverlord.ThesituationatOmahaBeachwhereAmericantroopslandedwassobadthatitscommanderseventhoughtaboutabandoningtheoperation.Toourgreatastonishment,eventually,thesoldiersmadeabreakthroughwithgreatcourageandtheDDaylandingwassuccessful.During
3、thelanding,somesoldiersdrownedinthedeepwater,otherswoundedbythebulletsorshells.Fortunately,somesoldierswerepickedup.Whensomeoldsoldiersthinkofthescenenow,theystillfeelshockedandfrightened.On6June,2004,survivorswithdifferentnationalitiesoftheDDaylandingreturnedtoFrancetowatchthecemeteryandm
