3、an9million160thousand,comparedwith7million400thousandin1999,anincreaseof23.1%,comparedwith8million150thousandinthepeakperiodoftourismin1996,up12.4%.Afteritsreturn,Macao'stourismindustryhasmovedsteadilyfromthenegativeimpactoftheAsianfinsncislturmoilandpublicsecurityproblemstosteady
4、growth・Atpresent,engagedintourismbettingandrelatedindustriesofpersonnel,accountingforabout1/3oftheemploymentpopulationinMacao,visitorsperyear,nearly20timesthelocalpopulationofMacao.Macaosmall,althoughthenaturaltourismresourcesarenotadequate,butwiththehelpofthesuperiorgeographicalp
5、ositionandthebeneficialconditions,continuousdevelopmentofthetourismindustry,andhasachievedsomesuccess,positiveunderstandingandlearningofMacaotourismeconomicclevelopmentexperience,isclearlybeneficialtothedevelopmentoftourismeconomicdevelopmentinaregion.Inthepastthirtyyears,Macaotou
