2、smethodhasbeenfoundtoperformadequatelyonwatersampleswithconductivitiesupto1000µS/cm.Watersampleswithconductivities>1000µS/cmhavenotbeentested.1.2.2Thismethodispotentiallyapplicabletosurfacewater,mixeddomesticwater,andindustrialwastewaters.1.3Amethoddetectio
3、nlimit(MDL)forperchlorateinreagentwaterhasbeencalculatedtobe0.7µg/L(pooleddata,seeTable1).TheMDLforaspecificmatrixwilldifferfromthatlisted,dependinguponthenatureofthesample.WhenMDLsareneededforaspecificproject,matrix-specificMDLstudiesmayprovidedatausersamo
4、rereliableestimateofmethoddetectioncapabilities.1.4Thelinearcalibrationrangeforperchlorateisapproximately4to500µg/L.Sampleconcentrationshigherthantheuppercalibrationlimitshouldbedilutedwithreagentwatertoaconcentrationwithinthecalibrationrangeandreanalyzed.1
