3、dustrywillbepositionedinthefuture.Anumberofcasestudieshavebeenperformed.Toanalysethecasestudiesthemodelisused.Themodelshowsdistinctlythewaythefivecompetitiveforcesinfluencesthee-commercecompaniesaswellasthelogisticsindustry.Thisfacilitatesforthelogisticsindustrytotakealarger

4、partofthevaluechain.Thefocusisdirectedtowardsthedesignandthemanagementofdifferentconceptsforthephysicaldistribution.TheinterrelationbetweentheseconceptsandtheflowstructureandtheinformationsystemsalongtheSupplyChainaretobedefined.ModelsforInternetdistribution,aswellasforupstr

5、eamanddownstreamconsequencesforInternetbuyingwillshown.Modelforinformationine-commerce.Internettechnologyhasforcedcompaniestoredefinetheirbusinessmodelssoastoimprovetheextendedenterpriseperformance(Simchi-LeviandSimchi-Levi,2001).AmodeldescribinghowtheInternetandinformationi

6、nfluencesthebusinessstructurehasbeendeveloped.ThebaseforthemodelisPorter’sfiveforcesmodel(Porter,1980).Thismodelisgenerallyusedtoanalyseacompany’spositiononthemarketandisusedfrequentlyasameanstoevaluatethepotentialofaspecificcompany.Thereishowevernothingthatstopsusfromredesi
