2、ble,althoughunlikelythatbothTDDandFDDtransmissionscouldbepresentonaparticularLTEfrequencyband.ThegreaterlikelihoodisthatasingleUEormobilewillneedtodetectwhetheraTDDorFDDtransmissionshouldbemadeonagivenband.UEsthatroammayencounterbothtypesonthesameband.Theywillthereforeneedtodetectwh

3、attypeoftransmissionisbeingmadeonthatparticularLTEbandinitscurrentlocation.ThedifferentLTEfrequencyallocationsorLTEfrequencybandsareallocatednumbers.CurrentlytheLTEbandsbetween1&22areforpairedspectrum,i.e.FDD,andLTEbandsbetween33&41areforunpairedspectrum,i.e.TDD.LTEfrequencybanddefi

4、nitionsFDDLTEfrequencybandallocationsThereisalargenumberofallocationsorradiospectrumthathasbeenreservedforFDD,frequencydivisionduplex,LTEuse.TheFDDLTEfrequencybandsarepairedtoallowsimultaneoustransmissionontwofrequencies.Thebandsalsohaveasufficientseparationtoenablethetransmittedsig
