3、ications,includingactivator,lubricator,dope,activationandsinteringmaterials,high-densemagneticrecordingmaterials,etc.Alltheseapplicationsrequirethepowderstobemadeofisolatedparticles.Theparticlesizeandthestructurestronglydependonthemethodofthenanopartic

4、leproduction.Accordingly,thepreparationmethodsandcharacterizationofthesepowdershavebeenmaintopicsinthefieldofmetalmaterials.Manytechniqueshavebeenusedtopreparenanometal–powders,suchasvapordecomposition,mechanicalcrushingbyballmilling,sol-gelprocessing,

5、gas-phasechemicalreaction,water-heatingreaction,laserhightemperatureburningmethod,etc.However,suchpowderspreparedbythesemethodsusuallycannotbeisolated.Inaddition,themajorityoftheprocesscannotbefulfilledpromptlyandgenerallycannotbeindustrialized.Commerc

6、ialexploitationofnanopowdersiscurrentlylimitedbyhighsynthesiscosts.Fromapracticalviewpoint,itisvitaltodevelopawaytomanufacturehighqualitynanopowdersinlargequantitiesatlowcosts.Forthisreason,aspeciallucrativeprocesshasbeendevelopedinourlaboratorytoprepa

7、rehighqualitynanopowders.Preliminaryresultsshowedthatthisprocessasaverypromisingtechnique,therearethreemainadvantagesbyanodicarcdischargingplasmamethod:(1)thisprocessisconvenient,inexpensiveandaneffectivepreparationmethod,(2)Thenanopowdersbythisprocess

8、withuniformsize,monodisperseandanarrowsizedistributionandhavelowimpuritycontamination;(3)ThepropertiescanbeeasyimprovedbyvaryingthetechnologyParametersintheprocess,especiallycapableofcontinuouslyproductivityandsuitableforbulkproductioni
