1、AbstractNowadays,thereisatrendforcommunicationsystemthatthewholenetworksystemisbecomingdynamicsothattherearealwayshavingdevicesshouldbeembeddedandremoved.Conventionalwiredcommunication,duetothecomplexityofcabling,doesnotadapttothemoderncommunicationsystem.Wire

2、lesstechniquehasbeenusedwidelybecausedevicescanbeconnectedbyelectromagnetismwavewithoutcabling.However,lowtransmittingreliablitybecauseofinter-interferencebetweenelectromagnetismwavesisthekeyproblemofwirelesscommunication.Basedonthis,thisthesisinvestigatesoneo

3、fthetechniquecalledcooperativecommunicationanditcooperativeprotocols.Cooperativecommunicationisavirtualmultiple-inputmultiple-output(MIMO)system.Toincreasethereliabilityofsignaltransmittedwithoutincreasingtheamountofcommunicationdevices,thistechnologytriestoma

4、keeachantennashaveoneormorepartnersthatassistthemtotransmitthesignal.Inwirelessnetwork,thedevicesnotonlytransmittheirownsignalbutalsoassisttheir“partner”totransmittheirsignalforsavingthecostofinstallationofadditionalantennasatbothreceiverandsenderInthisthesis,

5、wefocusonintroducingthreemainprotocolsincooperativecommunication:Amplify-and–Forward(AF),Decode-and-Forward(DF)andCodedCooperation(CC).TheperformanceandmathematicalequationsofAFandDFareanalysed,andthenMATLABprogramswerecreatedtosimulatetheperformanceofthesetwo

6、protocols.Aboutthethreeprotocols,themainproceduresarealsointroduced.TheperformancecomparisonforAFandDFindifferentsignal-to-noise(SNR)aredemonstrated.TheresultpresentsthattheDFprotocolshasbetterperformancethanAF.Finally,somerecommendationsandfutureworkarementio
