1、Reading部分说课稿Book1Unit1Goodmorning,ladiesandgentlemen.Today I’m very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is ReadingpartofUnit1,SchoolLifeintheUK,takenfromtheAdvancewithEnglish,Student’sBook1. Myrepresentation is made up of six parts:analysisofthete
2、achingmaterial,analysisofthestudents,teachingmethods,teachingprocedures,blackboarddesignandteachingreflection.Part1Analysis of the teaching material:This is a reading passageaboutanexchangestudent'sschoollifeintheUK.AfterstudyingintheUKforoneyear,shegivesusabriefbutcleardescriptionaboutwhat
3、schoollifeintheUKislikefromherownexperience.TheReadingStrategyofthisunitteachesstudentstwobasicreadingskills,skimmingandscanning.Studentsareexpectedtomasterthetwoskillsandtoapplythemtotheirfuturestudy. By studying thispassege, Ss can improve their reading ability, learn more about schoollife
4、intheUKandthereadingstrategyofskimmingandscanning. At the same time, we should get the students to understand some difficult sentences to comprehend the passage better. The Ss should do some listening, speaking and writing, too. Of course, the Ss should receive some moral education.Teaching
