2、nd,andexpandingtheproductionofandtradeingoodsandservices,whileallowingfortheoptimaluseoftheworld''sresourcesinaccordancewiththeobjectiveofsustainabledevelopment,seekingbothtoprotectandpreservetheenvironmentandtoenhancethemeansfordoingsoinamannerconsistentwiththeirrespectiveneedsandconcerns
3、atdifferentlevelsofeconomicdevelopment,Recognizingfurtherthatthereisneedforpositiveeffortsdesignedtoensurethatdevelopingcountries,andespeciallytheleastdevelopedamongthem,securea36/36shareinthegrowthininternationaltradecommensuratewiththeneedsoftheireconomicdevelopment,Beingdesirousofcontri
4、butingtotheseobjectivesbyenteringintoreciprocalandmutuallyadvantageousarrangementsdirectedtothesubstantialreductionoftariffsandotherbarrierstotradeandtotheeliminationofdiscriminatorytreatmentininternationaltraderelations,Resolved,therefore,todevelopanintegrated,moreviableanddurablemultilat
5、eraltradingsystemencompassingtheGeneralAgreementonTariffsandTrade,theresultsofpasttradeliberalizationefforts,andalloftheresultsoftheUruguayRoundofMultilateralTradeNegotiations,Determinedtopreservethebasicprinciplesandtofurthertheobjectivesunderlyingthismultilateraltradingsystem,Agreeasfoll
