3、ardizationcommitteeshavebeguntorespondtothepressurefromindustry,whichhadrecognizedthatreliableparametersformakingqualitydistinctionswereintheinterestsofindustry,andbegandemandingthem.AsfromSpring2001,whentheISOstandard13406-2wasadaptedforLCD,LCDdisplaysareabletoobtainaspecialISOtestingce
4、rtificate.ViewingangleTheimagequalityofTFTmonitorsisnotconsistentlygoodfromeveryperspective.Ingeneral,onecansaythatthequalityisbetterthemoreoneapproachalineofsightthatisverticaltothemonitorsurface.YoucanevaluatethequalityofaTFTmonitor,interalias,fromtheevennessofitsbrightness,contrastorc
5、olorwhenviewingthescreenfromarangeofvariousviewingangles.Thesequalitiescanvarywhenviewedfromvariousviewingangles,astheyrelatetothefocalpointofview.TheISO13406-2standardprovidesfromourclassesofviewinganglesthatrepresentreal-lifeusingsituations.ClassI-Thispermitsseveraluserstoviewtheentire
6、displayareaatthesametime.Thisappliesbothforintendedviewingdistance(between40and60cm,dependingonthesizeandresolutionofthemonitor)andforaviewinganglewithinan80conewithoutanyrestrictionofvisualefficiency.ClassII–Permitsasingleusertoviewtheentireareaofthedisplay.Thisappliesforintendedviewing
