3、ng,andsignedsinging(aninterestwhichbegunwithmylearningofbothviolinanddoublebasstograde4standard).Withthissameorganisation,Ihavevolunteeredforthepastthreeyearsatoneofthechildren’sgroupswhereIworkhelpingwithdrama,musicandart.ItwaswiththissameorganisationthatIdeci
4、dedtolearnSignLanguage.IhaverecentlygainedmyBritishSignLanguageLevel1certificateandamnowbeginningaLevel2course.IbeganlearningSignLanguageatthesametimeasstartingmyA-LevelinEnglishLanguageandLiterature,acourseIhavefoundextremelyinteresting.Takingthesetwocoursesco
5、ncurrentlywasveryexcitingformeaslearningmoreaboutthelinguisticsoftheEnglishLanguageenabledmetomakecomparisonsbetweenthetwolanguages.TheseinterestshaveledmetothiscoursewhichInotonlyfeelsuitsmyneedsandinterestsaptly,butalsoexcitesmeinitscoursecontent.AlthoughI’ve
6、enjoyedallofmyA-LevelEnglishLanguageandLiteraturecoursebuthavefoundafewpartsofitparticularlyinteresting.IspecificallyenjoyedourcourseworktasksforourASLevelasitincludedwritingapieceoforiginalfiction,anaspectofEnglishwhichIhavealwaysenjoyed.Ialsoenjoyedthetaskofp
7、erformingamonologueasIhavemissednotbeingabletostudydramaasasubject.Itrytofollowmyinterestsoutsideofschoolandsoattendawidevarietyoftheatreproductions,artexhibitions,musicalperformancesandsubjectrelatedlectures.Whenstudyingpsychologylastyear,Iattendedalargepsycho
8、logyconferencewithavarietyofspeakerswhichwasbothhelpfulandinteresting.LastyearIalsoattendedan‘artmasterclass’organisedwithMiddlesexUniversityandwithnineotherstudents,itgavem
