3、ctasreservoirs,valves,andreactionchamberstoallow,incombinationwithacompactsensingplatform,themonitoringofanalytelevelsusingastandardPC-CDplayer.Togeneratethecompactsensor,asanexample,wechosethephotoluminescence(PL)-baseddetectionoflactateandglucoseusinganOLED-basedse
4、nsingplatform.Onceembossed,thesurfaceenergyoftheplasticsubstratewaschemicallymodifiedtomakeithydrophilic.Reagents,placedinseparatereservoirs,weredirectedthroughburstvalvestowardsareactionchamberviaCDrotation.Lactateorglucoseweremonitoredbymeasuringtheeffectoftherelat
5、eddissolvedoxygenlevelonthePLdecaytimeofanoxygen-sensitivedye,followinganalyteoxidationcatalyzedbyasuitablespecificoxidaseenzyme.TheresultsdemonstratethepotentialofintegratingOLEDsasexcitationsourcesinPL-basedsensorswithmicrofluidicCD-basedplatforms,includingforsimul
