5、ities．Noneofthesetheoriescanincorporateallaspectsoftranslatingactivitiesintheirsphereoftheory．Sincetherearevarioustheoriesinwesterntranslationstudyfield，controversiesareinevitable．Scholarsholdingonetheorymaycriticizethedemeritsofothertheories．Therearemanycases

6、toexemplifythis．Infact，translatingactivityissuchacomplexeventthatnotheorycaninvestigateallaspectsofit．Itisverynaturalthateachtheoryisnotperfectandhasdemerit．Therefore，incriticizingothertheories，peopleshouldkeepinmindthatone’Sowntheorycannotbeperfectandthattheo
