3、nesetolearnEnglish，SOitaccountsbigpropoaioninNMT,TEM4andTEM8．Becausethepurposeofreadingcomprehensiontestistomirrortheleamers’readingcompetence，SOthereadingtestofhighvalidityrequires：thedifficultyofreadingcomprehensionshouldbedeterminedbythetextitselfmainly,butnotitemsortext／itemoverlapf

4、actors．Therefore，thedifficultyofreadingcomprehensionshouldbecontrolledbythetextfirstly．Manyexpeashavepickedoutsomevariablesthatwouldobviouslyaffectthedifficultyofreadingcomprehensionfromtext，itemsandtext／itemoverlapvariables，andanalyzethem．Domesticresearchersmainlythinkoverthereadingtes

5、tofNMT,TEM4andTEM8fromtheperspectiveofvalidity,andhaveachievedfruitfulresults．Intheirfindings，theyhavepointedoutthattherhetoricalorganizationcanmakedifferenceinreadability；howeveLtheyhaven’tmadeastudyofitsystematically．Undertheguideofsocio-cognitiveframeworkandonthebasisofCoh—Metrix--th

6、esystemevaluatingtextdifficulty,thisresearchanalysesthetextofreadingcomprehensioninNMT,TEM4andTEM8threeexamsofdifferentgrades，andthendiscussestheinfluenceofstyleonthereadabilityatdifferentgrades．ThesubjectsofthisresearcharetherealtextsofreadingcomprehensionfromNMT2008-2010，TEM42005—2009
