2、ssionofthesemodelsisprecededbyadescriptionoftwotheories:StephenKrashen’sinputhypothesis(1985)andMichaelLong’s(1983b,1996)interactionhypothesis,whichinfluencedtheselectedinformationprocessingmodelsandthefieldofSLAingeneral.Krashen’sInputHypothesisTheimpactofKrashen’sinputhypothesisonthefie

3、ldofsecondlan-guageacquisitionandteachinghasbeenprofound.Hishypothesishasbeentoalargeextentresponsiblefortheintroductionoftwoofthemostcontro-versialissuesinSLAtheoryandpractice.Thesetwoissuesareconnectedwiththerolesofinputandgrammarinstructioninsecondlanguageacquisition.Krashen’sinputh
