5、fPEGEnzymecatalysisincreasestheaffinityoftheenzymetoitssubstrate,however,followedbyadecreaseintheturnoverWateractivitynumber(kcat).Energeticcalculationsshowthatentrancepathforthesubstrateisfavoured,whereastheApparentspecificvolumeAdiabaticcompressibilityexitchannelisrestr
6、ictedwithincreasingconcentrationofthecrowdingagent.ThisdecreaseisattributedTime-resolvedfluorescencespectroscopytothethinningofthehydrationshelloftheenzymeduetothelossofcriticalwaterresiduesfromtheWaterrelaxationdynamicshydrationsurfaceoftheenzymeasevidencedfromvolumetri
7、candcompressibilitymeasurements.TheoverallsecondaryandtertiarystructuresofCHTdeterminedfromfar-UVandnear-UVcirculardichroism(CD)measurementsshownoconsiderablechangeinthestudiedosmoticstressrange.Fromkineticandequilibriumdata,wecalculate11530numbersofwatermoleculestobea
